Still getting the hang of this!

Journal. Supposed to be written in frequently. Thoughts, randomness, updates, etc.

NOT to be abandoned for weeks, even months, on end. :P 

Anyway....

Currently working on getting three paintings finished before the end of the month for a gallery showing in August. I don't like anything I paint currently and the deadline is in less than two weeks. I always have to make life difficult....and all I *really* want to do is play around with my new pastels. Get messy and such.

Also reading nearly every book that comes across my path. I feel college's hot breath at my neck and it's closing in fast, taking away my fun. :P I want to soak up every last ounce of summer (even if it threatens to melt me in the process) before winter locks me away again.

I'm always glad to see you post. Partly because I get to see your Larabee icon *lick*, but mostly because it's nice to see you pop up and wave to us. :D I'm cheering you on to get those paintings done on time. Will you post updates here of their work in progress, or will you show us when they're done? I'd love to see them, however you'd like to share!

Ooh yes! I should do that! I'm almost finished with my third painting but when it's done, I'll post all three so you can see them side by side.
